During the tour, you will stroll through the historical center of Pisa, starting from the medieval city walls, and ending in Piazza dei Cavalieri which is home to plenty of remarkable buildings whose history is deeply linked to the political and social evolution of the city. You will see the monument to Cosimo I de’ Medici, the Palazzo del Consiglio dei Dodici and the Clock Palace. Next you will reach Miracles' Square, where the famous Leaning Tower still stands after 9 centuries. Here, if you want you can climb the steps up to the top of the tower. Finally, we will walk into the Duomo and the Baptistery, two impressive examples of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. DO YOU PROVIDE TRANSFER FROM THE HOTEL OR THE AIRPORT?
Yes, over the years we have arranged private transfers in comfortable air-conditioned minivans fully equipped with what a family needs with pick up from the hotel also outside Pisa (Rome or Florence for example). We also pick up from the airports or the port of Livorno if you disembark with a cruise ship.

HOW MUCH IN ADVANCE IS PREFERABLE TO BOOK?
The licensed guides that are good in touring with kids are not many and in high season they might not be available last minute. It is always preferable to book well in advance at least 4 weeks.

IS THE TOUR SUITABLE FOR KIDS BELOW 5 YEARS OLD?
kids below 5 years old are welcome and they can definetely come along with a stroller as well. However, the tour is great for children aged 6 and above. Of course the guide will customize the tour based on your kids age. If they are teenagers they will have a different tour than if they are below 10 years old.

IS THE TOUR AVAILABLE ALSO AT NIGHT AFTER SUNSET?
Pisa monuments lit up at night are also fascinating and with less tourists around you everything is more enchanting like a fairytale. However, the main monumnets are closed at night, including the tower, so the tour will be all outside.

WILL THE TOUR TAKE PLACE WITH RAIN?
The tour takes place with rain or shine. Much of the tour is also indoor, inside the catherdal, the tower and the baptistry.
