Istanbul is where Eastern and Western cultures meet and combine in a harmonious mix full of history, traditions and art . On this family-focused tour you will explore the main historic sites of the city and learn about its evolution when it was part of the Byzantine and Ottoman empires.

We will begin our tour at the magnificent Hagia Sophia, a masterpiece commissioned as a church in the 6th century, converted into a mosque in the 1400s, and declared a museum in the 1900s. Inside, marvel at the rich decorations, including exquisite mosaics, marble pillars, ancient frescoes, and the awe-inspiring unsupported dome, creating a truly unique sense of space.
Next, we will visit the iconic Blue Mosque, one of the greatest examples of classical Turkish art in the city. Its unique interior decorated with approximately 21 thousand blue Iznik tiles makes this mosque a favorite attraction among tourist from all over the world.
At the end of the tour we will visit the Caferaga Medresesi. Built in 1560 as a school, this beautiful building and courtyard now houses a cultural organization that offers art and music exhibitions as well as workshops and courses on traditional Turkish handicrafts.
