We will start our tour with the visit to the Gothic quarter, the oldest part of the city where centuries-old buildings have been persevered. Walking through a labyrinth of small alleyways and bustling squares you will discover the spirit of old Barcelona and visit some popular attractions, including the church of Santa Maria del Pi, Plaça Sant Felip Neri, which is the favourite square of Gaudí, the Palau de la Generalitat de Catalunya and more.

Mohammad Taufik from Malaysia with our tour Guide Montse

"As the title of the tour points out, this walking tour is tailored for families with children and with that, the expectation will always be that the tour guide will need to give at least some attentions to the kids joining the tour. Our verdict? Montse exceeded our expectation by miles as she managed to mix the interaction between adults and children equally whilst managing to effortlessly entertain the 6 and 4 years old girls with enthusiasm which made the kids enjoyed walking tour even more, jet-lagged notwithstanding, that was. The pace of the tour was meant for families with kids, no doubt as we didn't feel forced to finish or go to certain places as most walking tour would somehow feel. So we'd say this walking tour is really flexible and easy going. Montse has been really informative and knowledgeable as what is expected from her but mixing it with humor made the tour seemed shorter than it actually was. As for the Churros stop, I can tell you that our girls just could not stop asking for and eating more Churros after being introduced for the first time at the legendary Xurrerria Manuel San Roman at Carrer dels Banys Nous. Yes, the version of other places may not be as good but will do for a quick fix of Churros' craving. In summary, we would rate this walking tour as exceeding our expectation and would highly recommend it for those who are looking for walking tour especially with children. Bear in mind, most tours are tailored for adults and adult's pace. This one, a relevant niche of a guided tour which most families with young children should consider. ", Mohammad T, Kuala Lumpur
