Tour description

The Florence City Tour will visit the famous city that is considered the birthplace of the Renaissance period.

Our walking tour will begin at your hotel in the heart of the historic city center. We will visit many famous places such as the Duomo, the Baptistery, Piazza della Repubblica, Piazze della Signoria and Santa Croce, and the Ponte Vecchio.

" We loved our walking tour of Florence with Giulia from Pinocchio tours. We are a family with a 14 year old daughter and a 9 year old son and the tour suited us all. Giulia set up a competition between the kids to find things that kept our son interested for the three hours and this gave me and my daughter time to ask the questions that we wanted answered. There was lots of information that my son was interested in too. We stopped part way through for a gelati and coffee. We added a visit to the Accademia to our tour and we saw David which was a highlight for us all. Giulia gave us a great overview and had some "secret" information that both kids loved. It was a perfect morning! Penelope S. "

As an option, you can visit the Galleria dell’Accademia where there is Michelangelo’s famous sculpture of David. The Accademia is a small museum. The time spent here is a perfect stop with children to learn about sculpture.

Advanced reservations are required to visit the museum if you would like to include this stop on your tour and must be ordered upon booking.

From Rome or the ports of Livorno or La Spezia we can combine this tour with a stop in Pisa so you can visit this small town and see the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
