The Colosseum Tour is a 3-hour adventure that takes you and your family through the highlights of the ancient amphitheater and city of Rome found within what is now the ancient Roman Forum archeological park.
"We had a ball - my mind keeps slipping back to walking among the ruins of the Roman forum in the late afternoon - beautiful. Roberta was wonderful and entertaining - very fun and a great host. We ran a bit overtime and she wasn’t fussed at all, she was very impressive! ", Elly Robinson, Australia
We will first skip past the long entrance lines to see the interior of the Colosseum, the most famous amphitheater of Roman Empire. After you learn about the history of the arena, the gladiators who fought there, and the people who were entertained you will then visit the ancient forum and walk the streets where the Romans once lived.
At the Roman Forum you will see the ruins of the Emperors' Palace, the Arch of Titus, ancient temples, and important political buildings from the time of the great Roman Empire. From the Palatine Hill you will see a spectacular panorama of the city of Rome.
We finish our tour adventure at the Capitoline Hill where you then re-enter modern Rome after an unforgettable learning experience about the ancient Romans that you won’t get in any classroom anywhere!
